Lurnnet Teacher Warranty

This is a short set of promises every teacher makes before creating a class. It sits next to the Terms and Privacy Policy. It does not replace them.

On Lurnnet, you are responsible for the students you bring and the materials you upload. We provide the software.

If any of the four promises below is not true for you, do not accept this Warranty and do not create a class. Write to support@lurnnet.com first.

The four promises

1. You are allowed to teach.
You are 18 or older and able to contract. You comply with the rules that apply to your tutoring in your country (including any licence, registration, or tax duty). Lurnnet is not your employer, school, or licensing body. You are not banned from working with minors.

2. The materials are yours to use.
Everything you upload or generate — lessons, questions, papers, images, video — is your work, or you have the right to use it with your class. You will not upload pirated or infringing material. Examination-board papers are usually protected; you accept responsibility for any you use.

If you upload material you do not have the right to use, we may remove it, suspend or close the class or account, and keep no unused-period refund. You cover Lurnnet for claims and costs from that upload, as in the Terms. The rights-holder proceeds against you, not against Lurnnet as the publisher. See Copyright.

You keep ownership. We only host the content to run your classes. We do not use it to train AI models.

3. You have the right to bring your students.
You have a lawful reason to process your students’ and TAs’ data on Lurnnet. Parent contact you collect on join must be a real parent or guardian — not the student’s own inbox, and not a teacher or TA address.

For every student under 15, you will obtain electronic parent or guardian consent through Lurnnet’s confirmation link before they use the class. There is no paper workaround in the product. For students 15–17, class may start immediately; parent email is for reports, and you will not send report content until the parent confirms that inbox.

You take reasonable steps to check that dates of birth on your roster are true. Lurnnet cannot prevent someone lying on a form. If a student or TA enters a false date of birth and skips the parent flow, that is your breach of this promise, not Lurnnet’s. You cover Lurnnet as in the Terms.

4. You will keep it lawful and safe.
You will not use Lurnnet to upload illegal content, to harm a minor, or to break cybercrime, child-protection, or data-protection law. You will report a safeguarding concern to safeguarding@lurnnet.com. You will not misuse access to student data.

You appoint only adult TAs (18 or older). Lurnnet treats every TA as an adult. If you appoint someone under 18, that is your breach of this promise, not Lurnnet’s. You cover Lurnnet as in the Terms.

AI

AI is a decision-support tool only. AI-drafted questions, grades, and explanations can be wrong. You will review every AI-suggested grade before it is final. You will not treat an unreviewed suggestion as a final academic or administrative decision. Anything you publish from AI tools is treated as your teaching content under promise 2. Claims about grades or class outcomes sit with you, not Lurnnet.

If a promise is broken

A breach is a breach of the Terms, including the indemnity there. Missing lawful parental consent is treated as a serious matter under Egyptian law. Uploading pirated teaching material is treated as a serious breach: we may take the content down immediately and close the account.

We may suspend the account or remove content. For a child-safety concern we may act immediately and notify authorities where the law requires.

Automated checks on uploads are security only. They are not approval of your content.

These promises continue each time you create a class, upload material, or invite someone. If one stops being true, tell us at support@lurnnet.com and stop the affected activity.

How you accept

Clicking “I accept the Teacher Warranty” (at signup or before creating a class) is a binding electronic acceptance. We record the warranty code (2026-08-20), time, and device details.

If we change these promises in a material way, we will bump the warranty code and ask you to accept once before your next class.
