Lurnnet Mobile App End User Licence Agreement

This EULA covers the Lurnnet iOS and Android apps. It adds to the Terms. The Privacy Policy and AI Features page also apply. Where this EULA is silent, the Terms apply. On device permissions, store rules, and biometrics, this EULA controls.

By installing or using the app, you accept this EULA.
Lurnnet is operated by Andrew Fahmy, doing business as Lurnnet. We may assign this EULA as described in the Terms.
Apple Inc. and Google LLC are third-party beneficiaries of the store clauses below.
1. Licence
We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to install the app on devices you own or control, to use Lurnnet as a teacher, student, or TA under the Terms.
Each person needs their own account. The licence ends if your account ends, you uninstall, or you materially breach this EULA or the Terms.
We keep all rights in the app. This licence does not sell it to you.
2. Who can use the app
Same age rules as the Terms: 13+ to sign up; 18+ to subscribe as a teacher; 18+ to be a TA; parent confirmation for students under 18. Enter your real date of birth.
3. Permissions
The app asks for permissions only when needed, with a reason on screen.

During an exam the app may detect a screenshot and tell your teacher. We do not store the screenshot — only that it happened.
Push messages do not include grades, payment amounts, or your location.
4. What stays on your device
Sign-in tokens are stored in the device’s secure storage. Preferences (theme, last class) stay on the device, encrypted. Drafts you have not submitted may stay on the device until you send them or sign out.
We do not store passwords, card numbers, or biometric templates on the device.
The app does not track you across other companies’ apps for advertising, and does not use the advertising identifier. If that ever changes, we will ask the platform permission and update this EULA.
5. Updates, links, deletion
We may update the app through the stores or in the background. A security update may be required to keep using it.
The app can open from links (class invites, notifications). Parent confirmation for under-18 students happens in a browser, not in the app.
Delete your account in Settings → Account. We process deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. Parents of students under 18 can also email privacy@lurnnet.com.
6. Apple App Store
This EULA is between you and Lurnnet, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. The licence is limited to Apple-branded products you own or control, as Apple’s Media Services Terms allow.
Lurnnet, not Apple, is responsible for providing maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund the store price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation.
Lurnnet, not Apple, is solely responsible for: product-liability claims; any claim that the app fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement; claims arising under consumer-protection, privacy, or similar laws; and investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any third-party claim that the app or your use of it infringes that party’s intellectual-property rights.
You represent that you are not in a country under a US embargo and not on a US prohibited-parties list.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and may enforce it.
7. Google Play
The app is distributed under Google Play’s then-current terms. Lurnnet, not Google, provides support and warranties except where Google’s distribution agreement requires otherwise. Google and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the Play-required clauses.
8. Everything else
The liability cap and disclaimer in the Terms apply to the app, including rights you cannot waive.

This EULA is governed by Egyptian law. Formal legal proceedings are as in the Terms (Cairo exclusive for teachers, to the maximum extent local law permits). Local consumer and privacy rights still apply. We do not currently offer Lurnnet in the EEA or the United Kingdom.
We will notify you in the app of material changes. Those require a fresh accept at next launch.
